Controlled nucleation of ultrasmall MoO3 nanoparticles on defective graphene for enhanced ammonia efficiency

Abstract

Ultrasmall nanoparticles on nanocarbons enhance the electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction (NRR) efficiency. Herein, we demonstrate a novel method for depositing MoO3 nanoparticles on defective graphene, achieving a high faradaic efficiency (FE) of 43.1% at −0.2 V vs. RHE.
