Prieurianin a complex tetranortriterpenoid from Trichilia prieuriana(Meliaceae), is assigned struc-ture (1) on the basis of n.m.r. analysis at nonambient temperatures and X-ray structure determination of prieurianin-p-bromobenzenesulphonate.
