Scalar coupling to naturally abundant 187Os: a new probe of the fluxionality of osmium carbonyl cluster complexes

Abstract

Low intensity satellites resulting from coupling to natural abundance 187 have been observed in the 13C and 31P n.m.r. spectra of several osmium carbonyl cluster complexes; studying the magnitude of the couplings gives new insight into the fluxional behaviour of these polynuclear compounds.
