Diastereoselective formation of P and M dicopper(i) double helicates with chiral 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridines

Abstract

Chiral 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridines bearing bornyl groups in the 6-position are prepared; these ligands preferentially form P or M dinuclear double helicates upon coordination to copper(I) which have been structurally characterised.
