Formation of isocyanate species on the surface of mordenite-type zeolite catalysts for the reduction of NO by hydrocarbons with H2O

Abstract

Surface isocyanate species with IR bands at 2274 and 2325 cm–1 play a crucial role for the maintenance of the water tolerance of HM, CuHM and CuNZA catalysts for NO reduction by hydrocarbons in the presence of H2O.
