A ruthenium(IV) complex with six sulfur donor atoms

Abstract

A stable monomeric ruthenium(IV) octahedral complex is synthesized with 1,2-dicyanoethylene dithiolate(2–) (mnt2–) as ligand and its ligand rearranged product obtained in solution is structurally characterized as a novel bis(1,2-dicyano-2-mercaptoethylene)sulfide(2–) (mnts2–) coordinated ruthenium(II) compound.
