Bile acid-based polyaminocarboxylate conjugates as targeted antitumor agents

Abstract

Bile acid–polyaminocarboxylate conjugates containing NE3TA, a potential iron chelator displayed significant cytotoxicities in both HeLa and HT29 colon cancer cells, and cholic acidNE3TA attached to an organic fluorophore was shown to enter the HT29 cancer cells.
