Temperature dependence of oxygenreduction activity at Nafion-coated Pt/graphitized carbon black catalysts prepared by the nanocapsule method

Abstract

The apparent rate constants (per real active area) for the oxygen reduction reaction at monodisperse Pt nanoparticles supported on corrosion-resistant graphitized carbon black (Pt/GC) prepared by the nanocapsule method were found to be two times higher than those of a commercial one from 30 to 90 °C.
