Selective detection ofzwitterionic arginine with a new Zn(ii)-terpyridine complex: potential application in proteinlabeling and determination

Abstract

A new water-soluble receptor 1 has been synthesized and it showed selective recognition of zwitterionic arginine in aqueous media. Moreover, the receptor 1 could be regard as a facile tool for protein labeling and quantitative determination (LOD= 15 nM).
