A label-free fluorescence immunoassay system for the sensitive detection of the mycotoxin, ochratoxin A

Abstract

A label-free fluorescence immunoassay system relying on fluorescence from the dianionic form of ochratoxin A (OTA) in the OTA/anti-OTA complex was developed. With an optimized system, the fluorescence immunoassay can be used to detect OTA in a highly specific manner with a detection limit of 0.5 ng mL−1.
