Time-resolved X-ray crystal structure analysis for elucidating the hidden ‘over-neutralized’ phase of TTF-CA†
Abstract
Photoinduced structural dynamics in tetrathiafulvalene-p-chloranil (TTF-CA) was directly observed by time-resolved X-ray crystal structure analysis. Temporal deformation corresponded to stepwise relaxation of intermolecular interactions and represented the generation of a more neutralized phase of TTF-CA than the initial one.
