Supercritical fluid processing: a rapid, one-pot exfoliation process for the production of surfactant-free hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets†
Abstract
We demonstrate a simple, rapid, one-pot exfoliation of h-boron nitride for generating surfactant-free nanosheets from a supercritical mixture of isopropanol and water. The product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, and UV-visible, FT-IR, and Raman spectroscopy. To confirm whether the sample was composed of few-layer BN nanosheets, AFM and TEM analyses were conducted.
