A facile route for the synthesis of mesoporous melamine-formaldehyde resins for hexavalent chromium removal†
Abstract
A highly mesoporous melamine-formaldehyde resin (MMF) has been successfully synthesized through a facile route. It shows a relatively high surface area (317 m2 gā1), uniform pore sizes (8.0 nm), enhanced adsorption capacity (66.65 mg gā1) and selectivity for hexavalent chromium.
