Direct observation of spatial configuration and structural stability of locked Y-shaped DNA structure†
Abstract
Here we introduce a new building block unit (locked Y-DNA) and its structural properties for a self-assembled, bottom-up, three-dimensional supramolecular nanoarchitectural probe. The spatial structural conformation and overall stability of this system have been explored using meticulous nanometre measurement techniques to predict essential structural characteristics as a building block for programmable nanomaterial.
