Abstract

Two intermetalloid Matryoshka cluster anions [Sb@Pd₁₂@Sb₂₀]^3−,4− obtained from the reaction of KSb and Pd(PPh₃)₄ were isolated as [K(2,2,2-cryptand)]⁺ and [K(18-crown-6)]⁺ salt, respectively, and characterized by X-ray crystallography, EPR measurement and DFT theoretical calculations.
