A novel wide-spectrum response hexagonal YFeO3 photoanode for solar water splitting

Abstract

Nanoparticle-assembled films of hexagonal YFeO3 with a wide-spectrum response were prepared by electrophoretic deposition. Hexagonal YFeO3, with the band gap of 1.88 eV, was found to exhibit photoelectrochemical water splitting.
