Homogeneous enzyme-free and entropy-driven isothermal fluorescent assay for nucleic acids based on a dual-signal output amplification strategy

Abstract

Herein, we developed a homogeneous enzyme-free, ultrasensitive and isothermal fluorescent biosensor for nucleic acid detection with dual-signal output to enhance the reaction rate and sensitivity by combining an entropy-driven catalysis strategy with a catalytic hairpin assembly reaction.
