Combining an effective immuno-affinity column with ELISA for reliable and visual detection of furaltadone metabolites in aquatic products
Abstract
In this study, a reliable and visual immunoaffinity test column (IATC) assay was developed for the detection of furaltadone metabolites in aquatic products based on the immuno-affinity column with ELISA. The detection process could be completed within 10 min, and the results could be observed by naked eyes. The established IATC assay was found to be successfully applied in the detection of furaltadone metabolites in aquatic products with a visual limit of detection of 0.5 ng gā1. The accuracy of the IATC assay was verified by comparison with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). It indicated that the developed method could be an effective analytical tool to monitor furaltadone metabolite residues in food products.
