Abstract

A series of CeF₃ nanocrystals with uniform morphologies have been synthesized by introducing various polyoxometalates as dopants and shape modifiers. The results indicate that the shape and photoluminescence of the CeF₃ nanocrystals could be finely tuned by changing the component and amount of the polyoxometalates.
