Spatial separation of lithiophilic surface and superior conductivity for advanced Li metal anode: the case of acetylene black and N-doped carbon spheres†
Abstract
The lithium anode exhibits promising prospects for application in next-generation batteries. Herein, acetylene black and N-doped carbon submicrospheres were simply mixed, leading to their significantly improved electrochemical performances. This result can be attributed to the synergistic effect of good lithiophilic surface and high electron conductivity.
