Abstract

A triple sequential junction by rationally combining anatase/rutile nanoparticle TiO₂ heterophase (A_ns/R) and rutile/rutile TiO₂ homophase (R_ns/R) junctions was fabricated as a proof of concept. Such a continuous charge separation and transfer channel resulted in a remarkable enhancement in the separation of photogenerated carriers and the photocatalytic activity.
