Abstract

Single atomic Au (Au-SA) is firmly anchored on the surfaces of defective TiO₂ (DT) hollow microspheres with oxygen vacancies (Ov), which sharply improves their light-harvesting ability, stimulates charge separation, and facilitates the adsorption and activation of acetone, thus dramatically enhancing their photoreactivity towards acetone oxidation.
