In–Fe mixed oxide as an oxygen-evolution photocatalyst for visible-light-driven Z-scheme water splitting†
Abstract
In–Fe mixed oxide showed activity for photocatalytic water oxidation when VO2+ was used as an electron acceptor. A stoichiometric amount of VO2+ for O2 was detected in the solution. The visible-light-driven Z-scheme stoichiometric water splitting was demonstrated using In–Fe mixed oxide and Ru/SrTiO3:Rh as oxygen and hydrogen evolution photocatalysts.
