Photoelectrochemical performance of ligand-free CsPb2Br5 perovskites†
Abstract
Herein, we have developed a method for the facile aqueous synthesis of ligand-free cesium lead halide perovskite nanoplatelets with pure CsPb2Br5. The ligand-free CsPb2Br5 nanoplatelets showed good environmental stability with green and easy synthesis. In addition to their demonstrated good stability in aqueous solutions, and enhanced charge separation and charge transportability, the CsPb2Br5 nanoplatelets exhibited an excellent photoresponse, particularly, with a photocurrent density of 8.38 μA cm−2 in an aqueous solution under 10.18 mW cm−2 light irradiation in the absence of other electron acceptors.
