Selectivity modulated oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane with CO2 under microwave catalytic processing
Abstract
This paper presents non-oxidative and oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene, aromatics, and hydrogen over CsRu/CeO2 catalysts in a microwave-heated reactor. Microwave-driven catalysis significantly lowered the reaction temperature and increased the ethylene/aromatics selectivity. Results demonstrate that the microwave catalytic process can activate ethane at lower temperature than conventional heating.
