Interface engineering using a neutral carbolong complex for efficient and stable p–i–n perovskite solar cells†
Abstract
Including a synthesized neutral carbolong (NC) as a cathode interlayer of p–i–n perovskite solar cells boosted the power conversion efficiency to 22.65%, higher than the 21.95% value for the bathocuproine counterpart, owing to facilitated electron transport and lower interfacial recombination losses. Moreover, NC-based devices presented greatly enhanced thermal and operational stability.
