Unlocking the biosynthetic regulation role of polyketide alkaloid lydicamycins

Abstract

Natural products derived from the rhizosphere offer promising prospects for the development of antibiotics and herbicides. In this study, we report our advancements in cultivating a mutant strain that yields a substantial quantity of polyketide alkaloid lydicamycins, a potent family for herbicide development.
