Copper-catalyzed decarboxylative ethynyl methylene cyclic carbamates with amines: modular synthesis of 3-aminopyrroles

Abstract

Herein, we report a copper-catalyzed decarboxylative cyclization of ethynyl methylene cyclic carbamates and amines, via a tandem C–N/C–N bond formation process, to access a series of 3-aminopyrroles. The reaction features base-free, mild conditions and a wide substrate scope.
