Organic vapor-modulated surface enhanced Raman scattering spectroscopy
Abstract
It is reported that organic vapor such as ammonia can significantly alter the electronic structure of the nanostructure, resulting in modulation of the efficiency of surface enhanced Raman scattering spectroscopy (SERS). It was found that ammonia vapor can change the surface potential of the nanostructure by up to −0.7 V, the value detected by electrochemical measurement.
