Reversible photochemical valence isomerization between α-diazo-ketones and α-keto-diazirines

Abstract

The photochemically induced valence isomerization of α-diazocarbonyl compounds to give diazirines which had previously been pointed out to be restricted to α-diazo-amides has now been observed in the α-diazoketones (1) and (5).
