A strong symmetrical N–H–N bond. A 120 K neutron diffraction study of hydrogen diquinuclidinone perchlorate
Abstract
Neutron diffraction studies provide evidence for the existence of the hydrogen diquinuclidinone homoconjugated cation containing a very short and symmetrical linear N–H–N hydrogen bond [N ⋯ N = 2.635(2)Å and N–H = 1.317 (1)Å].
