Synthesis of open-ended MoS2 nanotubes and the application as the catalyst of methanation
Abstract
We report the synthesis of open-ended MoS2 nanotubes and their application as the catalyst for methanation of carbon monoxide with hydrogen. Because the catalysis of the methanation reaction occurs at relatively low temperatures, such nanotubes may provide new solutions toward harnessing the environmental load caused by CO emission.
