Abstract

The synthesis, fluorescence properties and NO photolability of [(Me2bpb)Ru(NO)(Ds-im)]BF4, a {Ru–NO}6nitrosyl–fluorophore conjugate, have been investigated and its potential as a trackable NO donor has been evaluated.
