Abstract

The catalytic dehydrocoupling reaction of Me2NHBH3 with Al(NMe2)3 gives the dimer [Me2NBH2]2 and the chain [(Me2N)2BH], involving the thermally-stable AlIII hydride catalyst [{(Me2N)2BH2}2AlH].
