Abstract

A dinuclear, butadiene-bridged complex, trans-μ²:η²,η²-1,3-butadiene-bis(trichloroplatinate(II)) (1) was unexpectedly obtained on photolysis of acetone solutions of (NBu₄)₂[PtCl₆].
