Solvent-induced structural transformation and magnetic modulation in 1D copper(ii) polymers based on a semi-rigid ligand containing 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole†
Abstract
A helical Cu(II) polymer 1 exhibits reversible SCSC transformation and magnetism switch by the chemisorption/desorption of MeCN molecules. Significant changes in its color, coordination environment, and magnetic behavior were found during the SCSC transformation. In addition, the effect of different coordinated solvents on the magnetic properties was further investigated.
