The supramolecular assemblies based on heteroatom-containing triangulenes

Abstract

The heteroatom-containing derivatives of triangulene feature a rich supramolecular chemistry which results from their (mostly) planar π-conjugated structure – predestined for the self-assembly via ππ-stacking interactions into 1D or 2D architectures. Herein, this behavior will be discussed – also taking the potential applications of these assemblies into account.
