Dehydrative allylation of P–H species under metal-free conditions†
Abstract
An environmentally benign protocol for C–P bond construction was developed under metal- and solvent-free conditions. In the presence of B(C6F5)3, wide-spectrum P–H species, including dialkylphosphite, hypophosphite ester, and secondary phosphine oxides, can be successfully incorporated into the dehydrative cross-coupling process with allylic alcohols delivering the corresponding allylic organophosphorus compounds in high yields.
