2,3-Diaminophenazine@carbon felt with chemical grafting via amide bonds as an electrode in lithium-ion batteries

Abstract

Grafting organic molecules onto an insoluble matrix is an effective way to improve the electronic conductivity and insolubility in electrolyte of organic electrode materials. The active group of C[double bond, length as m-dash]N in DAP@C composites synthesized by chemical grafting of 2,3-diaminophenazine (DAP) with carbon felt through amide bonds (–CO–NH–) displays excellent electrochemical behavior.
