Additional crystalline structures of syndiotactic polystyrene composites with acetylated cyclodextrin

Abstract

One of the features of syndiotactic polystyrene is its various crystalline structures according to the crystallization conditions and process. A mixture of acetylated cyclodextrin and syndiotactic polystyrene results in additional crystalline structures. Wide-angle X-ray scattering shows cyclodextrin intermediates in the crystalline structures, which increase the lengths of repeating periods.
