Phosphination of Aryl/Alkyl Bromides via Mn-Mediated Reductive C-P Coupling

Abstract

Mn-mediated reductive cross-coupling of organic bromides with 2-bromo-1,3,2-diazaphospholene was developed for efficient construction of C-P bonds under mild conditions. Mechanistic studies suggested bromides are activated by in situ formed bis-diazaphospholene via hybrid radical and polar mechanisms.
