Synthesis of size-selective MnB crystals in tens of seconds

Abstract

A roasting technique under a dynamic magnetic field (RDMF) has been developed to synthesize MnB crystals in tens of seconds. Such a technique can fabricate bulk crystals in centimetre size without hot isostatic pressure (HIP). Alternatively, changing the raw material can also realize production of MnB powder in nano-size.
