Visible-light-promoted desulfonylative radical difluoroalkylation between difluoroenol silyl ethers and difluoroalkyl sulfones to construct functionalized aryltetrafluoroethane derivatives†
Abstract
A visible-light-promoted desulfonylative radical difluoroalkylation between difluoroenol silyl ethers and difluoroalkyl sulfones has been developed. This protocol features mild conditions, simple operation, short reaction time and broad substrate scope, providing an efficient approach for obtaining a series of functionalized aryltetrafluoroethane derivatives in moderate to good yields. In addition, various synthetic derivatization experiments have been carried out to illustrate the practicality of this methodology.
