Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling of heteroaryl sulfones and diselenides via deheteroaromatization and heteroaromatization: synthesis of heteroaryl selenides

Abstract

A Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of heteroaryl sulfone compounds and diselenides to afford heteroaryl selenides under mild reaction conditions has been developed. This method provides a practical way for the construction of C–Se bonds, preparation of heteroaryl selenides with a broad substrate scope, as well as extension of Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions.
