Solvent-controlled switchable multicomponent tandem oxidative triple functionalization of indolines†
Abstract
A new one-pot method for solvent-controlled switchable tandem oxidative triple functionalization of indolines has been developed via successive regioselective chalcogenation, oxidation, amination and halogenation, in which iodine serves as both a halogenating agent and a catalyst. This protocol provides expedient access to different multi-functionalized indoles with unique regioselectivity, a broad substrate scope, and mild reaction conditions.
