Rhodium-catalyzed N-alkenylation of ketimines: one-pot synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles

Abstract

Herein, we report a one-pot synthesis of pyrroles via rhodium-catalyzed N-alkenylation of ketimines. The reaction's scalability to gram quantities and substrate versatility highlight its practical value. Notably, we efficiently synthesized the natural product Lamellarin R, demonstrating the superiority of this method in synthesis of pyrroles.
