Integrating metal complex units into knitted hypercrosslinked polymers for enhanced efficiency of cyclization reactions with CO2

Abstract

Porous hypercrosslinked polymers functionalized with aluminium porphyrins and N-heterocyclic carbene–silver complexes showed excellent catalytic properties under ambient conditions in the cycloaddition of epoxides and the carboxylative cyclization of propargylic alcohols, both with CO2, respectively.
