Enantioselective palladium photoredox catalysis

Abstract

The merger of visible light and transition metal catalysis, particularly palladium catalysis, has unlocked new opportunities and challenges in asymmetric synthesis. This review highlights recent advances in enantioselective palladium photoredox-catalyzed transformations, focusing on two key catalytic modes: dual palladium/photoredox catalysis and photoexcited palladium catalysis. Furthermore, it offers a comprehensive analysis of the substrate scope and reaction mechanisms reported in recent studies.
