Novel Hollow Carbon Nanorings with Biconcave Structure for Advanced Potassium Ion Batteries

Abstract

Using g-C3N4 nanorings as self-sacrificial template and nitrogen source, polydopamine as carbon source, novel nitrogen-doped carbon nanorings (N-CNRs) with hollow structure and biconcave morphology are created by confined pyrolysis strategy, which performs an enhanced potassium storage property.
