Synergistic electronic and microstructural regulation for high-performance PdPt-based electrocatalysts in the hydrogen evolution reaction†
Abstract
The electrochemical performance of Pt-based catalysts can be enhanced by boosting intrinsic activity and active site density. Here, an electronic and microstructural regulation strategy constructs hollow PdPt nanorods in situ assembled on an array substrate, forming a binder-free, self-supporting electrode that exhibits exceptional hydrogen evolution reaction performance.
